Welcome to TailorHive! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the TailorHive mobile application, website, and services (collectively, the "Platform"), provided by TailorHive ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using TailorHive, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Platform.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use TailorHive. By using the Platform, you represent that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.
2. Account Registration
To use certain features, you may be required to create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Keep your login credentials confidential
- Be responsible for all activity under your account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or contain false information.
3. User Roles
TailorHive serves two primary user types:
Customers:
- Search for tailors based on location, style, and ratings
- Place orders and communicate directly with tailors
- Leave reviews based on your experience
Tailors:
- Create profiles and upload design portfolios
- Communicate with customers and fulfill orders
- Receive ratings and reviews
Tailors must ensure their work meets professional standards. Consistent poor ratings or complaints may result in suspension from the platform.
4. Payments and Fees
- Payments are processed via third-party providers.
- TailorHive may charge a commission on completed transactions.
- Tailors may subscribe to premium plans for added visibility.
- Prices and fees may change at any time with prior notice.
TailorHive is not responsible for disputes over pricing or payment between users and tailors.
5. Content and Conduct
You agree not to:
- Post false, harmful, or offensive content
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
- Interfere with the operation of the Platform
- Use the Platform for illegal or unauthorized purposes
You are solely responsible for the content you post, including portfolios, messages, and reviews.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, and logos on TailorHive are the property of TailorHive or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or use any content without express permission.
Tailors retain ownership of their uploaded designs but grant TailorHive a license to display them on the platform for promotional and functional purposes.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason, with or without notice.
You may delete your account at any time by contacting our support team.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available."
We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy of listings, availability of tailors, or quality of service provided by users.
Use the Platform at your own risk.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TailorHive shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
- Disputes between users of the Platform
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. This includes applicable laws regulating electronic commerce, digital services, consumer protection, data privacy, and financial transactions, such as:
- The Cybercrimes (Prohibition, Prevention, Etc.) Act 2015
- The Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018
- The Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023
- Relevant regulations issued by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA)
You agree that any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via the app or email. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
